X.com Will Soon Use Your Posts for AI Training
In a recent update to its Terms of Service, X.com (formerly Twitter) revealed plans to use all text and media from users’ posts to train their absurdly-named AI, Grok.
With no way to opt out, users who continue to use the platform when the policy takes effect from November 15th will automatically agree to their content being used for machine learning.
Exactly how much this might deter virtual photographers from using the platform remains to be seen of course, but a recent poll shows that the issue is causing some uncertainty at the very least. My hunch is that where the official studio / publisher accounts go, people will follow…
