More reasons to use photo mode on PlayStation
State of Play Brings Good News for Virtual Photographers
Sony’s latest State of Play showing included a number of things that should interest virtual photographers. Horizon Zero Dawn Remaster was finally confirmed, with photo mode of course; Alan Wake II’s Lake House expansion was revealed; Dragon Age: The Veilguard got a fair amount of screen time; and a brand new photo mode for Stellar Blade was previewed (more on that below).
Perhaps the biggest news though was the reveal of the next title from Sucker Punch – Ghost of Yōtei. With a new protagonist, story, and area of Japan to explore, this already looks beautiful and should be another photographer’s delight.

The winners of the Sifu Screenshot Contest have been announced and, with the theme being Olympic sports, the baseball bat was apparently a popular choice amongst those who entered. Check out the winners and a selection of honourable mentions now on official channels.
Naughty Dog | Photo Mode Collection: No Return
As part of this year’s The Last of Us Day, Naughty Dog invited fans to submit their best Photo Mode shots from the No Return survival mode. Virtual photographers obviously didn’t disappoint, and a selection of the entries are now featured on the studio’s official blog.

The PlayStation Blog continues it’s long-standing dedication to sharing in-game captures with a fun selection of VIP bots from Team Asobi’s Astro Bot. Adding it here is also a nice excuse to point out that my entry made it as the cover image😉
